This is the most panoramic room in Villa Cuseni. It is located on the second floor and was originally the painting studio of the Villa, very quiet and with extraordinary natural light. Three windows, made like a Renaissance triptych, frame a panorama without equal in the world, overlooking Etna, the Sea and the historic garden below. The room is furnished with antique Sicilian furniture from the 1800s, with original Sicilian majolica floor tiles from the early 20th century, perfectly restored, and with paintings by Robert H. Kitson, the painter who is credited with making Taormina famous throughout the world, ‘Don Roberto Kitson’, as he was called in town.
This room consists of a bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom with shower and a private panoramic terrace. Since 26 March 2021, the paintings and antique furniture in this room have contributed to the Italian National Cultural Heritage and are under the protection of the Fine Arts. The room was restored in 2024. The paintings and antique furniture of this room were declared an Italian National Cultural Heritage on 22 March 2021.The room has all the most modern comforts (high-speed Wifi with optical fiber, central heating, independent heating, mini-bar, telephone, satellite TV system, Bang & Olufsen audio-visual system, safe).
